The Ministry of Youth and Sport, Ghana Tourism Authority, National Lottery Authority, Ghana Football Association and Zenith bank have launched the Stars4Qatar program.
This program is aimed at raising funds to support the Black Stars ahead of their participation in the 2O22 FIFA World Cup in Qatar later this year.
The concept also seeks to reward the most engaging fan with an all-expense paid trip to Qatar to be part of the teaming fans for the tournament.
The Stars4Qatar program is on the Caritas platform and managed by the National Lottery Authority (NLA) with support from the Ministry of Youth and Sport and Ghana Tourism Authority.

About the STARS-4-QATAR Promo
The 22nd edition of the FIFA Men’s World Cup, Qatar 2022 is scheduled to take place in Qatar from 21 November to 18 December 2022. Ghana is one of the 5 African countries to have qualified for the tournament. As part of plans to whip up interest and rally support for the Black Stars, The Ghana Football Association in partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sports is organizing a promo to reward lucky subscribers.

User enters “1” to select the option to buy a ticket for the promo
User is asked to enter the number of tickets to buy for the promo
User is presented a summary of tickets to be purchased and confirms
User receives a USSD pop-up to confirm payment via Mobile Money

User is presented with a payment form where the user pays using mobile money or a card
