CalBank had the honour of hosting Zakiya Ahmed, winner of Miss Malaika Ghana at its Head Office, at Ridge – Accra.
The visit was not only an opportunity for the Bank to meet the beauty queen but also for her to learn about the bank’s operations and the work they do to serve their customers.
The visit was a great way for her to gain insight into the financial sector and to understand the role the bank plays in the community.
She engaged with a cross-section of departments to gain insight and understanding into the everyday life of a financial institution and how the sum of the parts i.e. departments, branches, and units come together as a whole to deliver the friendly service the bank is noted for.
She was impressed by the bank’s commitment to providing high-quality services and to meeting the needs of their customers.
In a brief remark by the Bank’s Treasurer, Philip Duodu Fynn charged Zakiya to use her reign to make a positive impact on society and see herself as a youth ambassador, wearing her crown with dignity.
The visit ended with a question-and-answer session with the bank staff, where Zakiya asked questions and gained further insight into the bank’s operations.
She was fascinated by the work the bank does and expressed her admiration for the staff’s dedication and commitment to serving the country.
The visit was a great opportunity for her to gain a deeper understanding of the financial sector, and it has inspired her to use her platform to promote financial literacy and education.
