On Sunday, July 31, the Member of Parliament for Mpraeso Constituency, Mr. Davis Ansah Opoku affectionately referred to as OPK has begun a report back session with the various constituency stakeholders.
“On Sunday, I began a “Report Back” session with various constituencies’ stakeholders”, a statement from the MP said.
This will see the MP visit and interact with his polling station officers, chiefs, elders and opinion leaders to brief them on the happenings in Parliament in the last session and on crucial government decisions like the IMF.
He also visited Republic 97.5 FM on Monday, August 1 to engage constituents on constituency-related matters.
He continued his engagements with the polling station officers in his constituency to first inform them of the happenings in Parliament, and then to solicit communal concerns from them.
The MP expressed his gratitude for their discussions on improving his work as a parliamentarian.
He had another engagement on Tuesday with the front-line soldiers of the New Patriotic Party (NPP: Development in Freedom) and the polling station officers in the Mpraeso Constituency.
He used the opportunity to thank them for their role in the NPP attaining 30 years in Ghana’s political terrain.
On Wednesday, he continued the report-back session with the constituents.
He visited Alyce Biggs SDA school to inspect the ongoing construction of a modern ICT Lab built by the community. He also donated 70 bags of cement to support the management of the school.
He touched on progress on electricity provision in Kyereban, Asikam, Ntomem, and its environs. Indeed, the roads leading to these towns are in a deplorable situation, and he assured them the need to do everything humanly possible to fix them.
