The Member of Parliament for Mpraeso Constituency, Mr. David Opoku Ansah has hinted that, plans are far advanced for the reconstruction of the Mpraeso Brighton’s stadium.

Speaking in an interview on Republic FM on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, the Deputy ranking member of the Public Accounts Committee noted that, his outfit has received an initial costing of the grassing of the pitch.

“I have received the initial costing for the pitch alone and the green grass because we can’t do AstroTurf in Mpraeso, we want to build a standardized stadium”.

According to him, the park is planned to be constructed on standardized level in order to make way for premier league matches.

However, the park will be a natural grassing stadium instead of the Artificial Turf.

“We don’t need to do Artificial Turf, we have to do natural grassing “ he said.
