Defending champions, Accra Hearts of Oak, have been knocked out of the MTN FA Cup, following a defeat to Dreams FC at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Dreams FC capitalized on a defensive error from Hearts of Oak and punished them as Agyenim Boateng beautifully curled the ball into the corner of the post, eight minutes into the first half.
The away team had the opportunity to go 2-0 up on the 28th minute minute but Van Dijk missed from a near post header.
Hearts kept looking for the equalizer but failed to get back into the game.
However, with few minutes to the end of the game, the defending champions were awarded a penalty but Benjamin Yorke failed to put it at the back of the net.

Referee called for a retake of the penalty after Dreams FC goalkeeper Augustine Koomson moved off his line before Augustine took the penalty.
For the second time, Hearts of Oak defender Samuel Inkoom also failed to score from the spot as the match ended 1-0 in favour of Dreams FC.
Meanwhile, Kumasi Asante Kotoko progressed to the next round of the competition with a win against Division two side, Benab FC at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Kotoko took an early lead on the 15th minute as Ishau Alhassan scored an own goal.
Benab FC got an equalizer on the 69th minute through Mohammed Umar, with a beautifully worked goal but Kototo through a corner kick, got the winner late in the game, as Maxwell Agyemang who was poorly marked, hit the ball into the corner of the post.
