MTN Ghana has announced the payment of a final dividend of GHS0.40 per share, totaling more than GHS5.29 billion for the 2025 financial year.

The dividend, recommended by the board on February 26, 2026, was officially approved by shareholders at the company’s Annual General Meeting held at the UPSA Auditorium on March 24, 2026.

According to the company’s 2025 Annual Report, shareholders registered in the books of Scancom PLC as of the close of business on March 26, 2026, will qualify to receive the final dividend.

The ex-dividend date has been set for March 24, 2026. This means investors who purchased shares before this date are eligible for the payout, while those who buy on or after the date will not qualify.

MTN Ghana indicated that dividend payments will be made on April 10, 2026, with funds transferred electronically to shareholders’ bank accounts or mobile money wallets.

At the AGM, shareholders also approved several board-related resolutions. Antoinette Kwofie was re-elected as Executive Director, while Kofi Dadzie and Felix Addo were re-elected as Independent Non-Executive Directors after retiring by rotation.

In addition, shareholders approved a total payment of GHS13.7 million for Non-Executive Directors, with provisions for adjustments in the event of additional appointments or extra board and committee meetings during the year.
