Ghanaian dancehall sensation, OV, born Barbara Naa Okailey Nyarko has revealed that, joining the MTN Hit maker reality show in 2018 was a difficult challenge she ever took.
According to the ”Want me” crooner, who spoke in an interview Republic FM’s Artiste Profile with Nana Effah on Friday, February 18, 2022, there were lot of super talented upcoming musicians in the competition, hence winning the competition only came as a miracle to her.
“Well, beginning I asked what have I involved myself in, because there were lot of talented people, and in even guys that I knew way back like Awal Mohammed, Amakye the rapper. They were dope guys and so at some point, I just said, I came to try but it was a difficult challenge, I wouldn’t lie” he said.
OV also said, maybe God allowed her to win the competition just for her discover her life career.
She also noted that she has released a new song dubbed “No Perfect vibe” which is receiving massive airplay across digital media platforms.
