Born into a music family, Akwaboah is certain that guidance from his legendary father, Kwadwo Akwaboah will also ensure his success in every work of music he releases and that’s no different in his yet to be released album titled, ‘LIGHTHOUSE’.

Speaking in an interview on SHOWBIZ NOW with KMJ, Akwaboah stated that his father contributed 60% to his album and that’s by sitting down with him and playing one song after the other for him to comment and make corrections on them to ensure he put his best songs on the album.

Akwaboah released a single titled ‘ENSESA’ off the album last Friday and is yet to set date for the release of the album this year.

Akwaboah, who is a master keyboardist, has played for a lot of local and international artistes including Hugh Masekela and John Legend, and has assisted several musicians to make it big in the industry.

The talented singer-songwriter and producer Akwaboah was signed unto Sarkcess music, a record label owned by BET Award winner Sarkodie. Akwaboah also produced and co-wrote BET Award winner Sarkodie’s fourth album “Mary”.
