Ghanaian actress and media personality, Naa Ashorkor Mensah-Doku has announced her exit from Asaase Radio.
In a statement on her social media platforms, she thanked her coworkers and employer for their contributions to her advancement and for being a family that created lasting memories.
She is looking forward to doing bigger things at her next place, and she is enthusiastic about what the future holds for her.
The mother of two hosted Between Hours on Asaase Radio 99.5, a daily programme and also hosted Just Us, an all-girls talk show every Wednesday.
Her journey in media can best be described as interesting after starting off as a “Vox Pop” co-ordinator for TV Africa whilst still a student at the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ).
Gradually, she got acquainted with the crew who invited her as a guest on the New Generation show until she gradually became the host when the regular presenter got sick.
Ashorkor later started hosting the television programme Tales from The Powder Room on GHOne TV.
She also worked for EIB Network’s Starr FM before joining Multimedia Group’s Joy Fm.
