The Nkosuohene of Nkwatia, Nana Owiredu Wadie I, as part of efforts to extend social support to Ghanaians, has gifted a brand new vehicle to the immediate past Headmaster of St. Peter’s Senior High School, Mr. Kwame Owusu Aduomi, in recognition of his service to the school and the Kwahu community.
The presentation took place at the Forecourt of the school on Friday, May 15, during a short ceremony attended by traditional leaders, staff of St. Peter’s SHS, old students, and members of the community.
Nana Owiredu Wadie I, the Group Chairman of Kabaka Foundation and Investment said the gesture was to honour the headmaster’s dedication, discipline, and contribution to improving academic standards and infrastructure at the school during his tenure.
“We have watched your leadership and the positive changes you brought to St. Peter’s. This is a token of appreciation from the myself and my family, for your service. It should motivate others in public service to give of their best,” the Nana stated.
Receiving the keys, the former headmaster expressed gratitude to Nana Owiredu Wadie I and his family. He said the honour was unexpected and dedicated it to the teaching and non-teaching staff who supported his work at the school.
He added that he would continue to support education in Kwahu even after leaving active service.
