Nana Owiredu Wadie l, the Nkosuohene of Nkwatia, and doubles as the Board Chairman of the St. Peter’s SHS has pledged to construct 4000 capacity Assembly hall for St. Peter’s SHS.

The Chairman of the Kabaka Foundation made the pledge during a meeting with the board on Monday, May 16, at the forecourt of the school.

“Nana will be building the Assembly Hall for the school. For the cost of the building I can not confirm that, because Kabaka Foundation is now going to assess the drawing and then we will come up with our own bill of quantity”, the Executive Director of the Kabaka Foundation, Dr. Henry Larbi said.

This forms part of the Kabaka Foundation’s developmental schemes of numerous modules on it projects and other economic empowerment frameworks.

Nana Owiredu Wadie l has promised to single handedly construct the edifice for the school in respect to the honor the school has specifically brought to Nkwatia, kwahu and the entire Eastern region and Ghana in general.

Nana Owiredu Wadie l has provided additional Gh¢50,000 cedis for the purchase of an air conditioners to be fixed at the present exam Hall of the school which will provide some sort of comfort for the students to write and pass their exam.

Meanwhile, the foundation donated wheelchairs to persons with disability in Nkwatia and cut sod for the commencement of a construction of smart lab and E-library for St. Peter’s SHS.
