As part of efforts to spread love and joy during the festive season, the Nkosuohene of Nkwatia-Kwahu, Nana Owiredu Wadie, has extended his generosity to the less privileged in the community through a significant donation drive.
The initiative, organized under the auspices of the Kabaka Foundation, saw over 500 individuals, including the aged, widows, and persons living with disabilities, receiving essential food items and livestock. These included bags of rice, cooking oil, canned fish, tin tomatoes, and other necessities.
Speaking on behalf of Nana Owiredu Wadie, the Executive Director of the Kabaka Foundation, Dr. Henry Larbi, highlighted the purpose of the initiative. He emphasized that it was designed to show appreciation and bring smiles to the faces of vulnerable members of the community. Dr. Larbi reiterated Nana Owiredu Wadie’s unwavering commitment to supporting the well-being of the people of Nkwatia, particularly during significant occasions like the festive season.
