The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has extended its warm congratulations to Donald J. Trump, who has been elected President of the United States of America following a decisive victory in Tuesday’s election.
The NDC lauded Trump’s return to the White House, noting that his win resonates with their party’s hopes as Ghana prepares for its own presidential election on December 7th.
The party remarked that Trump’s successful comeback reflects a global shift towards experienced leadership in times of political and economic uncertainty.
“This development is an encouraging sign for the NDC,” said General Secretary, Fifi Fiavi Kwetey in a statement.
“As Americans have chosen to reset their future with experienced leadership, we believe that Ghanaians, too, will choose a path away from eight years of insensitivity, corruption, and economic mismanagement.”
The NDC expressed confidence that, like Trump, their party stands prepared to restore stability, integrity, and optimism to Ghana, calling for a reset in leadership as the nation heads to the polls.
