The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has expelled its former Deputy General Secretary, Mr. Samuel Koku Ayindoho from the party.
According to the party, it took the action against Mr. Ayindoho for indiscipline.
The party in a letter addressed to Mr Anyidoho and signed by the NDC General Secretary Johnson Asiedu Nketiah said the expulsion was finally decided by the Functional Executive Committee [FEC] of the party after considering the report and recommendations of the National Disciplinary Committee on the case of misconduct and antiparty behaviour brought against him, pursuant to article 48 (1) (9) (a) of the NDC Constitution.
“At our meeting on Tuesday, 27th July, 2021, the Functional Executive Committee of the NDC considered the report and recommendations of the Disciplinary Committee on the case or misconduct and anti-party behaviour brought against you Mr. Allotey Jacobs pursuant to articles 48(I) (b) and 8 (b) of the NDC Constitution.”
“The Committee’s report which is herein attached for your attention found you guilty of the said allegations of misconduct, anti-party conduct and recommended among other things your immediate expulsion from the party. The Functional Executive Committee acting in compliance of Article 48(1) of the NDC Constitution has unanimously adopted the report and accepts fully its recommendation for your expulsion from the party.”
The party thus asked Koku Ayindoho to return any party property in his possession. The party also said the expelled members forfeits any amounts of money, dues, or subscription he has made to the party.
