A new face has joined the race for Flagbearer hopeful for the National Democratic Congress ahead of the primaries scheduled for May 13, 2023.

Mr. Ernest Kwaku Kobeah a staunch member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the UK picked nomination forms from the party’s headquarters in Accra on Wednesday, February 22, 2023.

The presidential candidate hopeful is a modern sewage system specialist and doubles as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of City Experts Limited Group in the UK and hails from Asante Mampong in the Ashanti Region.

According to Mr. Kobeah, the NDC needs a very young and vibrant candidate who can lead the party in the 2024 and 2028 elections respectively.

Speaking after picking his forms, the flagbearer hopeful indicated that he has paid his dues as a party member and believes he can put up a challenge for the other candidates.

Mr. Ernest Kwaku Kobeah becomes the third candidate after former President John Dramani Mahama and former Kumasi Mayor, Kojo Bonsu to pick their nomination forms.

Former Finance Minister, Dr. Duffour is expected to pick up his forms tomorrow.

Nominations are expected to end on February 24, 2023, while submission and filing of forms are expected to take place between March 20 and March 22, 2023, followed by vetting and approval.
