The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has officially launched its 2024 election campaign.
The event which sets the tone for the party ahead of the December 7 polls took place on Saturday, July 27, at the Tamale Jubilee Park in the Northern Region.
During the launch, the NDC as a party shared its vision for the country to supporters, as various officials also took the opportunity to sell various messages to their Ghanaians.
Addressing the large crowd at the Tamale jubilee park, flagbearer of the party, John Dramani Mahama outlined various strategies and measures put in place to secure victory come December.
As part of the strategies, Mr. Mahama urged supporters to be vigilant and observe a 48-hour vigil until the last ballot is counted and results are declared.
The former President also called on all Ghanaians to go out in their numbers on December 7 to vote for the NDC to restore hope and reset the economy.
“On this occasion as the flagbearer of the NDC, I declare the NDC campaign duly and officially launched,” John Mahama said.
The campaign dubbed “Change to reset Ghana”, according to the party will focus on door-to-door engagement to touch base with citizens.
