Minority leader, Haruna Iddrisu has urged members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to work together as they eye victory in the 2024 general elections.
He was addressing delegates at the 10th National Delegates Congress at the Accra Sports Stadium and said delegates should be unified as they elect national leaders to lead the party.
“What the NDC needs to do, is to work together. We expect delegates to conduct themselves well, and elect national officers, that will partner with our flagbearer who eventually may be elected in March, to cruise the party to victory.”
He added that the NDC’s youth and women’s wings are crucial to the party’s triumph in 2024 and advised them to maintain discipline and show respect for one another.
“The youth and women’s wing of our party remains the wing of that falcon aircraft that will fly the party to victory. I, therefore, urge our youth and women’s wing to demonstrate discipline, and mutual respect for each other and fly the party to victory, with the party executives to be elected today,” he said.
