Two-time independent presidential candidate Jacob Osei Yeboah (JOY) has described the fracas in the opposition National Democratic Congress as a political dialysis that could bring division between the Minority leadership in Parliament and the party’s National Executives.

In an interview with Silver FM, the founder and West Africa Director of Vital Source Limited (VSL) said the happenings in the party is unfortunate.

He alleged that the President, Nana Akufo-Addo is controlling some key leading members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) caucus in parliament.

Mr Yeboah noted that NDC may suffer to win power in 2024 if the leadership crisis still persist.

“NDC is now on political Dialysis in the 8th hung Parliament whilst Nana Addo keeps squeezing the balls of all NDC MPs on the double salaries list to get his policies passed without delay.” JOY said

Meanwhile, the leadership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) on Wednesday held an adhoc meeting with the Council of Elders of the party and the entire Parliamentary Caucus following the recent confusion in parliament.

They met to address the concerns of the teeming members and supporters of the party.

There has been agitations following the disquiet and misgivings that characterised the approval of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s ministerial nominees by Parliament.
