The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has set December 17 as the date for the election of its national executives.
At a news conference held on Thursday at the party’s National Headquarters, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, the party’s General Secretary, made the announcement.
Candidates are expected to pick up nomination forms between October 20 and October 21, according to the NDC’s approved schedule.
Aspirants have 14 days to complete forms and file them on November 5 and 6 respectively.
Addressing the media, he said all persons who file their nominations successfully for national executive positions will be vetted from 9th November to 10th November 2022.
The Constituency elections will commence with the opening of nomination from 20th to 22nd September.
Constituency aspirants have one week to complete forms and file them on 28th and 29th September while awaiting the vetting slated for 30th September to 2nd October.
The Regional elections timetable starts with the opening of nominations scheduled for October 6 and 7 and ends with the elections on November 13, 2022.
Chairman hopefuls are expected to pay GH₵600 as filing fees, while the position of the Vice Chairman costs GH₵500.
The position of the General Secretary costs GH₵500 and aspirants for the Organiser position will pay filing fees of GH₵400.
