In a bold move, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has announced its intention to broadcast its meeting with the Electoral Commission (EC), despite the latter’s refusal to review the 2024 electoral processes.
Undeterred by the EC’s rejection, the NDC is committed to transparency and accountability and will share the meeting with the public through its social media channels and other platforms.
The EC had earlier declined the NDC’s request for a review, citing finalized processes. However, the NDC maintains that several concerns remain unaddressed.
Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, the party’s General Secretary, emphasized the NDC’s unwavering dedication to transparency and fairness in the electoral process.
The NDC has consistently expressed concerns over the EC’s handling of electoral processes, including voter registration, ballot printing, and the commission’s impartiality.
The broadcast is expected to take place soon, with the NDC promising to release further details in the coming days.
