NDC to launch 2024 manifesto August 24

The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has set Saturday August 24, 2024 to launch its 2024 manifesto ahead of the general elections in December.

As disclosed by the flagbearer, John Mahama during the party’s campaign launch on July 27, the manifesto will be launched in the Central region.

“We are going to launch our manifesto before the end of August and we are launching it in the Central Region. And when we launch the Manifesto, there are lots of interesting things that will spell out the blueprint that we intend to pursue that will change the fortunes of our country”, Mr. Mahama said during the campaign launch in Tamale.

The manifesto is expected to contain policies and strategies aimed at resetting Ghana.

In a press statement released on Wednesday August 14, 2024 to announce the date for the launch, the general secretary, Fifi Kwetey said “The National Democratic Congress (NDC) wishes to inform the general public that its manifesto for the 2024 general elections will be launched on Saturday, 24th August, 2024”

The statement further revealed a nine (9) member planning committee chaired by Dr, Peter Boamah Otokunor  for a successful organization of the launch.

On August 12, the party launched its youth manifesto, promising jobs and social interventions for the youth.
