Neighbor assaults 19-year old girl in Gomoa Akotsi for refusing proposal

A-19-year-old eggs seller, identified as Christabel Ofori, has allegedly been assaulted by a neighbor, identified as Kow at their residents in Gomoa Akotsi in the Gomoa East district, after she refused his proposal.

According to the victim, her Sim card was deactivated by service provider. She said, through the toil, one female neighbor collected a Sim card from the suspect, whose name was given as Kow for the the victim’s temporary use as she gets new one.

The victim said, the suspect has been trying to make advances of her but she has refused severally which resulted in a threat from him.

She said, the suspect warned her not to use the Sim to call anyone if she has rejected his proposal which later improvised the assault.

The case has been reported to Gomoa Ojobi police station for further investigation.
