The National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP) today commenced a high-level Co-Creation Workshop under the SEED initiative, a flagship component of the The Adwumawura Programme.

The programme is designed to nurture and empower student entrepreneurs across tertiary institutions in Ghana. The initiative forms part of the national agenda to strengthen youth enterprise and innovation.
Participants were introduced to the vision, structure, and objectives of SEED, as well as its implementation framework. The sessions clarified expected outcomes and stakeholder responsibilities.
The workshop brought together academics, innovation hubs, student leaders, development partners, and representatives from the Ministry of Youth Development and Empowerment and the National Youth Authority, among others. Discussions were participatory and inclusive. The contributions of all participants were actively sought and considered.
Through interactive sessions, stakeholders explored practical strategies to design a forward-looking programme suited to the 21st-century entrepreneurial landscape. Deliberations centred on innovation, mentorship, sustainability, and institutional collaboration. Emphasis was placed on building scalable and resilient student enterprises.
In his remarks, the Chief Executive Officer and the Deputy of NEIP encouraged participants to take the engagement seriously and contribute meaningfully. He urged them to add their knowledge and experiences to strengthen existing frameworks. He stressed that national transformation depends on disciplined, innovative, and committed youth.
The first day concluded with renewed enthusiasm and strong stakeholder alignment. Participants expressed commitment to refining the programme through collaboration. There was a shared resolve to translate dialogue into measurable and lasting impact.
