Leslie Osei Bonsu, the nominee for Asante Mampong Paramount stool, has sworn the oath of allegiance to the people of Asante Manpong after the kingmakers introduce him to the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
He was officially introduces to the Manhyia Palace on 18th December, 2025 by the kingmakers, together with the Asante Mampong queen mother, Nana Agyakoma Difie.
As part of tradition and further confirmation, Leslie Osei Bonsu had to officially swear the oath of allegiance to Asante Mampong before he proceeds to swear to the Asantehene.
At a colourful event of culture and tradition at Asante Mampong, Leslie Osei Bonsu swore to his community, promising to serve the people with truth, commitment and integrity.
With the stool name Osei Bonsu III, he will succeed his uncle Dasebre Osei Bonsu II.
Leslie Osei Bonsu is a senior software architect and geospatial strategist with over two decades of experience leading complex software initiative across Africa and Europe.
He is currently serving as the product and service group manager at GAF AG in Germany.
His leadership spans projects in government infrastructure modernization and cross team coordination, driving alignment with evolving standards and regulatory framework.
