A brief inaugural ceremony has been held by the Minister for Trade and Industry, Alan Kyerematen at the Ministry, for the new board of the GRATIS Foundation.
The seven-member board with Dr. Richard Amoako Baah being the chair, has been charged with the responsibility of repositioning the institution to meet the needs of government’s thriving industrialization agenda.
Other members of the board include Mr Ntim Kofi Adjei, Chief Executive of the GRATIS Foundation, Mr Emmanuel Effah Preko, Hon. Collins Owusu Amankwaah, Mad. Diana Frimpong Manso, Mad. Abena Nyarko Antwi and Hon. Emmanuel Agyei Anhwere.
The Minister in his remarks charged the board to rebrand the foundation by operating on sound commercial lines to ensure sustainability.
He also tasked them to restructure the institution through the development of new organisational structures to help it become more service oriented.
