Newmont Ghana signs 3-year support with Otumfuo Foundation

As part of Newmont corporate social responsibility dubbed NGGL, the Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources responsible for Lands and Forestry, Mr. Benito Owusu-Bio led a delegation from Newmont Ghana to sign an MOU with Otumfuo Osei Tutu ll Foundation, to provide support to the foundation’s activities for the next three years.

As part of Newmont corporate social responsibility dubbed NGGL, the Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources responsible for Lands and Forestry, Mr. Benito Owusu-Bio led a delegation from Newmont Ghana to sign an MOU with Otumfuo Osei Tutu ll Foundation, to provide support to the foundation’s activities for the next three years.

NGGL is currently working on a land acquisition for its Ahafo North Mines and the Steering Committee for the acquisition is chaired by Mr. Benito.

Mr. Owusu-Bio was accompanied by Technical Director for Lands, Mr. Maxwell Adu-Nsarfoa and the Technical Director for Mines, Mr. Peter Awuah.
