The National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) has categorically refuted reports alleging ongoing or recent recruitment activities within the institution.

In a press statement issued on Monday, the NHIA assured the public that all recruitment processes were concluded in October 2024.

The Authority emphasized that the recruitment exercises were conducted in strict compliance with legal frameworks, relevant regulations, and best practices.

This ensured transparency, fairness, and meritocracy, the statement noted.

Addressing concerns about appointments and confirmations for director-level positions, the NHIA clarified that these processes fall under the sole jurisdiction of the Public Services Commission and are not directly managed by the Authority.

However, the NHIA indicated that it would communicate such outcomes to applicants upon receiving a comprehensive report from the Public Services Commission.

The NHIA urged the public to disregard any misleading claims or rumours suggesting last-minute recruitments. The statement reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and professionalism in its operations.

The Authority encouraged individuals with inquiries or concerns to reach out through its official communication channels for clarification.

Signed by Dr. Da-Costa Aboagye, Chief Executive of the NHIA, the statement concluded by thanking the public for their understanding and cooperation.
