A whooping Gh¢151 million has been released by the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) to be disbursed to all Healthcare providers across the country.

This move underscores the authority’s commitment to maintaining the smooth operation and delivery of quality healthcare through the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS).

In a press statement shared on its official Facebook page, the NHIA explained that the funds are intended to settle outstanding claims up to March 2024 for higher-tier healthcare providers and April 2024 for the majority of clients at lower-tier facilities.
