The Ashanti Regional Police Command has apprehended nine suspects linked to a recent series of residential armed robberies across the Kumasi Metropolis.

 

The police operation, which targeted a known criminal hideout, resulted in an exchange of gunfire. One suspect sustained gunshot wounds and later died at the hospital. Another injured suspect is currently receiving treatment under strict police surveillance.

 

Suspects in Custody

The individuals currently in police custody have been identified as:

 

Kelvin Adomako, 29

 

Daniel Dwomoh, 46

 

Kwadwo Kyei Baffour, 39

 

 

Joseph Oppong, 29

 

Bernard Owusu Ansah, 27

 

Kwadwo Konadu, 27

 

James Asare Boateng, 26

 

Emmanuel Asiedu, 27

 

Maxwell Gyimah, 31

 

The suspects were reportedly armed with pump-action shotguns, pistols, and other offensive weapons at the time of arrest.
