The Member of Parliament for Nkawkaw Constituency, Joseph Frempong in collaboration with the Office of the First Lady, H.E Mrs Rebecca Akufo-Addo and Chinese Tech giant, Huawei, will train over 500 Lower and Upper primary pupils in Nkawkaw Nsuta, Kwahu.

A representative of the MP disclosed the details of the program to Republic FM in an interview during the Kwahu West Municipal Assembly community engagement on Thursday, August 18.

“The MP sends his regards to all dignitaries present. He was not able to grace the occasion because there was another program he needed to attend. For some days now, the MP needed to know the number of sub-towns under the Municipality so we can extend development to everybody.

The Town and Country Planning told me there are about 214 and all these communities want development, ranging from electricity, water, roads and other social amenities and it’s the duty of the MP to extend these projects to the people. The MP and the office of the First Lady and  Huawei are assiduously working out to train over 500 Lower and Upper primary pupils in ICT and when the project begins, Nsuta was chosen as the option for the program”, the rep said.

The MP has donated over 15 packets of roofing sheets to help the construction of a newly built school in Nkawkaw Nsuta.

He has also provided over 1,300 Mono desks to the Municipal Education Directorate to distribute to schools within the Kwahu West Municipality.
