The member of parliament for the Abetifi constituency, Mr Bryan Acheampong has revealed that he spends as much as Gh¢20m cedis on humanitarian basis every year.
The MP said this at the Acclamation of the ten (10) Abetifi constituency executives of the New Patriotic Party in Kwahu Nteso on Sunday, May 1.
“Just as I said, nobody gives more to party members being ministers and MPs in the NPP than me Bryan Acheampong.
“All that we are doing we don’t talk about it because it is an act of giving. Our God we serve did not tells us to broadcast our good deeds for everybody to know and I believe the blessings God gives is because of the things we do” he affirmed.
According to him, no member of parliament, ministers or whoever contributes to the NPP party faithful in humanitarian basis more than him.
According to the MP, yearly, through his Bryan Acheampong Foundation, through the party and personal donations he spends as much as Gh¢20m cedis, equivalent to $3million on humanitarian basis.
He added that about 700 to 800 party executives in the Abetifi constituency are being paid by him every month.
