The chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress in the Northern Region, Alhaji Mobila has passed on, according to information available to myrepubliconline.com.
Alhaji Mobila died on Tuesday, August 16 after a short illness at the Tamale Teaching Hospital.
As per Islamic customs, he is being buried the same day.
Until his death, the NDC regional chairman was the chief of Tugu Yapalsi.
His death comes a day after another NDC stalwart, Samuel Nuamah Donkor, died a few days ago.
