NPP dismisses claims of errors in Bryan Acheampong’s nomination forms

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has refuted reports suggesting that Hon. Dr. Bryan Acheampong’s nomination form for the party’s presidential primaries contained errors flagged by the National Executive Committee (NEC).

In a statement issued on September 1, 2025, and signed by William Yamoah, Secretary to the Presidential Elections Committee, the party described the reports as “entirely false and unfounded.”

“The NEC has never received or reviewed any form. Indeed, no individual or group outside the established processes has access to the nomination forms,” the statement emphasized.

The Elections Committee urged stakeholders to refrain from rumor-mongering, spreading dis-affection, and deliberately circulating falsehoods that could undermine the integrity of the party’s electoral process.

Reassuring party members and the public, the Committee stated its commitment to conducting a transparent, credible, free, and fair election in strict accordance with the NPP’s rules and regulations.
