The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has issued a directive imposing a strict ban on all campaign-related materials ahead of its 2025 National Annual Delegates Conference, scheduled for July 19 at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.

According to Joseph Osei-Owusu, Chairman of the National Planning Committee, the ban includes billboards, banners, posters, flyers, T-shirts, and souvenirs with aspirant branding. A dedicated team will be responsible for removing and destroying any prohibited materials.

The party’s decision aims to maintain order, neutrality, and focus on party unity and strategic decision-making during the conference. The ban applies to the entire conference venue and surrounding areas, with compliance monitors tasked with enforcing the rule.

The move is expected to create a level playing field for all aspirants and ensure the conference’s objectives are met without distractions.
