The Bekwai parliamentary seat is now vacant due to the incumbent Hon. Joseph Osei Owusu being unable to run again, so four people have officially picked up nomination forms to contest in the upcoming parliamentary primaries.
Speaking on the sidelines after picking up the forms, one of the aspiring parliamentary candidate hopefuls, Henry Opoku Ware, reiterated that he stands tall among all the aspirants because in 2020 he went round with the incumbent to campaign for almost 116 communities with his resources.
According to him, Hon. Joe Wise has contributed a lot towards the growth of Bekwai municipality.
Mr. Owass was optimistic that when he gets the nod to represent the people of Bekwai, education will be his top priority because he is the engineer for youth.
The area of infrastructure will be the road network and the building of more new unit classrooms.
Mr. Opoku Ware hinted that the NPP government has done a lot, so he entreats all Ghanaians to vote massively for the party to continue the good things the party is doing for Mother Ghana.
He said he is very confident that the Bekwai delegates believe in his track record towards the growth of the Bekwai NPP, so he has no doubt in mind that they will vote 75% for him in the upcoming parliamentary primaries slated to take place in January next year.
