The New Patriotic Party’s National Executive Election is scheduled to take place at the Accra Sports Stadium from July 15 to 17, 2022.
Five New Patriotic Party (NPP) aspirants are vying for the National General Secretary position.
The aspirants are; John Boadu, Justin Kodua Frimpong, Iddrisu Musah Superior, Ramseyer Ahmed Agyeman-Prempeh and Frederick Opare Ansah.
Frederick Opare Ansah
Frederick Opare-Ansah is a former member of parliament and former Deputy Minister. He says he’s bringing his experiences from Constituency and parliament to bear on the administration of the party.
Iddrisu Musah Superior
Musah Superior is a former mayor of Tamale Metropolital Assembly. Presently, he is drawing salary from Government of Ghana as a Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Forestry Commission.
John Boadu
The incumbent General Secretary, John Boadu is seeking a re-election to be at pal with Dan Botwe’s record as the second General Secretary to have served two-terms.
He is campaigning on his experience and desire to make history with the people.
Justin Kodua Frimpong
Justin Kodua Frimpong, known amongst foot-soldiers as (Okunkom) to wit hunger killer, is the serving Chief Executive Officer of Youth Employment Authority (YEA).
Kodua is campaigning on the need for the party to transition from archaism and embrace neolithism, equity, fairness and reward for hard work.
Ramseyer Ahmed Agyeman-Prempeh
Ramseyer Ahmed Agyeman-Prempeh is contesting to become the National General Secretary of the party.
