NPP Presidential Primary: Bryan, Bawumia, Ken and two others file nomination forms

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has confirmed that five aspirants have successfully filed their nomination forms to contest in the party’s upcoming presidential primary.

In a statement issued by the Presidential Elections Committee on Thursday, the aspirants were listed as:

Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong

Hon. Ken Ohene Agyapong

Hon. Dr. Bryan Acheampong

H.E. Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia

Hon. Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum

The Committee recalled that nominations were officially opened on July 29, 2025, by the General Secretary on behalf of the National Council for party members interested in vying for the flagbearer slot.

Secretary to the Committee, William Yamoah, assured stakeholders of a transparent, credible, and fair electoral process, guided by the party’s constitution and regulations.

The NPP Presidential Primary is scheduled to take place on Saturday, January 31, 2026.
