NPP Primaries: Bryan leads, Bawumia ‘whipped’ to bottom in latest Global Info Analytics popularity ratings

A July survey by independent research firm Global Info Analytics places Bryan Acheampong at the top of the New Patriotic Party aspirant popularity ratings with 45.18 percent support, while former Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia slips to the bottom with no recorded backing.

The firm’s July poll reveals Dr. Acheampong commanding nearly half of respondents’ support, a remarkable rise that marks him as the standout performer of the month.

In second place is former member of parliament of Assin Central, Ken Ohene Agyapong, who captured 34.21 percent of the vote, building on momentum from previous months.

Former Education Minister Osei Yaw Adutwum claimed third position with 20.61 percent, edging ahead of the former flagbearer.

The most dramatic shift came from Mahamudu Bawumia. After leading June’s survey, the ex‑vice president saw his support collapse completely in July, registering zero percent, a drop of 43.90 percent compared to the previous month.

The latest popularity ratings according to Global Info Analytics survey in the month of July for the top 4 NPP aspirants reveals the following outcomes:

1. 45.18% – Bryan Acheampong

2. 34.21% – Ken Ohene Agyapong

3. ⁠20.61% – Osei Yaw Adutwum

4. ⁠0.00% – Mahamudu Bawumia
