The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has revised the timelines of some of the activities for both the presidential and orphan constituencies’ primary elections.
The revision is as a result of the Electoral Commission’s announcement of June 27, 2023, as the date for the Assin North by-elections.
In a release by the General Secretary, Justin Kodua Frimpong, the vetting of presidential aspirants will begin on Monday, July 3 and end on July 6, 2023.
Publication of qualified aspirants and balloting for positions on the ballot paper will be held on July 21 and July 24, 2023, respectively.
The National Congress will still be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023.
