The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has formed reconciliation committees in all 16 regions across the country aimed at fostering peace and co-existence between members of the party.
These reconciliation committees which were formed in consultation with the regional executive committees according to the General Secretary are expected to resolve issues that emanate from all party activities or events.
In a statement dated Thursday, February 1, 2024, and signed by the party’s General Secretary, Justin Frimpong Kodua, “the committees work include but not limited to polling station elections, constituency elections, regional elections, national elections, presidential and parliamentary elections”.
Mr. Frimpong Kodua therefore thanked individuals of the various committees for their willingness to serve the party in their capacity and contribute to the unity and cohesion of the New Patriotic Party.
