NPP to present manifesto in August – Bawumia

The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr.Mahamudu Bawumia, has disclosed that, the party will present its manifesto ahead of the 2024 general election in August.

The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr.Mahamudu Bawumia, has disclosed that, the party will present its manifesto ahead of the 2024 general election in August.

He made this announcement during the official unveiling ceremony of his running mate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh at the Jubilee Park in Kumasi on Tuesday, July 9, 2024.

“During my lecture at the University of Professional Studies Accra (UPSA), I outlined the new vision for Ghana and we will present our 2024 Manifesto next month”.

Dr. Bawumia added that, the Manifesto will include a detailed presentation of his vision which according to him will continue the good works started by President Akufo-Addo.

Addressing a large crowd, Dr. Bawumia also promised to work closely with his running mate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, to make his vision for Ghana materialize describing him as a problem solver, knowledgeable, and a generational thinker.

“We can work together and bring bold solutions to the people of Ghana, our ticket is full of generational thinkers”, Dr. Bawumia stressed.

Until is nomination as the running mate, he was the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Manhyia South constituency in the Ashanti region.

He is also a former education minister and currently serves as the Minister of Energy.
