The Minister of the Interior, Henry Quartey, says the New Patriotic Party (NPP), will peacefully hand over power should the party lose the December 7 elections.

He said some claims by some members of the party that the NPP will not hand over power do not reflect the position of the president or the party.

He said individuals who have the intention to cause mayhem before, during, and after the 2024 polls will be dealt with accordingly.

Mr. Quartey said this during a health screening organised by the people of Alajo as part of celebrating the 2024 Homowo Festival in Accra.
