Dr. Emmanuel Asiedu, the NPP East London Organiser and Coordinator for Friends of Bawumia UK, has donated items to support operations for the December 7 elections in the Mpraeso constituency.
The donation, presented at the constituency office on Monday, December 2, included 20 cartons of bottled water, 32 cartons of assorted drinks, 10 cartons of malt, and 300 T-shirts and caps.
During the presentation, Dr. Asiedu commended the constituency executives, including the Parliamentary Candidate Hon. Davis Opoku Ansah (OPK), the Municipal Chief Executive, and the Constituency Chairman, for their dedication to mobilizing voters.
Ahead of the donation, Dr. Asiedu joined the campaign trail with Hon. OPK and the MCE, visiting churches in the constituency to highlight the achievements of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Hon. OPK. They also toured the Mpraeso Market and township, emphasizing the benefits of the Free SHS policy.
Sharing his personal experience, Dr. Asiedu credited education for his success and urged market women to vote in support of Free SHS on December 7. He encouraged constituents to intensify their efforts with door-to-door campaigns to secure more votes.
Dr. Asiedu pledged to continue working with the constituency executives and stakeholders to retain Hon. OPK’s seat and ensure a win for Dr. Bawumia. He outlined plans to visit more areas in the coming days to deepen the house-to-house campaign and strengthen voter outreach efforts.
He further called on members of the Bawumia Fan Club in Mpraeso, where he serves as Chairman, to actively participate in campaign activities. Dr. Asiedu assured the constituency executives of his support throughout the elections to ensure success and maintain Mpraeso’s status as a stronghold for the party.
