The Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipal Assembly has donated fridges and other items to eleven (11) persons with disabilities in the municipality to make living comfortable for them.
The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Isaac Kwadwo Buabeng, claims that although funds were initially provided from their disability fund, they are now used to buy the things they desire in order to improve their quality of life.
Mr. Patrick Oppong, the Municipal Head of Social Welfare and Community Development, explained the assembly’s intentions for the eleven people and the reasons behind the items’ distribution.
Beneficiaries of the items commended the assembly and advised their colleagues to refrain from begging at the roadside.
