The Municipal Chief Executive of the Nzema East Municipal Assembly, Hon. Frank Okpenyen on Monday, September 13, 2021 visited victims of the collapsed Axim Kundum Jams platform, which occurred on Saturday night at the Victoria Park Ceremonial Grounds.
Hon. Franko as he is affectionately called settled part of the medical expenses of the victims at Axim Government Hospital. He prayed for the speedy recovery of the victims and encouraged them to be strong.
Hon Franco as part of the visit donated a 32-inch LED TV set to Children’s Ward to uplift their spirits and entertain themselves as they seek medical care. He also donated 1000 bulbs to the Axim Government Hospital.
The Hospital Management expressed gratitude for this swift gesture by the Municipal Chief Executive and appealed for more. They urged the general public to take their safety serious during this Kundum season.
