An ‘okada’ rider has lost his life in a fatal crash at Tetegu, on the Accra-Kasoa stretch.
The deceased who was carrying a passenger was reportedly hit by a commercial ‘trotro’ bus at around 6:pm.
According to eyewitnesses, the vehicle run over the ‘okada’ rider smashing his head. The pillion rider is said to have been fortunate as he is reported to have sustained severe injuries.

The body of the deceased has been conveyed to the mortuary by the police for preservation while the pillion rider is said to have been transported to the hospital for treatment.
The deceased plies his okada business at Old Barrier on the Kasoa road.
The devastating news has thrown colleague okada riders at Old Barrier into a state of shock as one of their own leaves painfully through the recklessness of a hit and run driver.
