French League 1 giants, Olympic Lyonnais, have announced the signing of Ghanaian wonder-kid Ernest Nuamah from FC Nordsjælland in Denmark.
The 19-year-old, whose signing was announced on Wednesday, August 30, by the French club, did not include details of his contract.
However, Nuamah is expected to join Lyon on an initial season-long loan from Belgian side RWD Molenbeek with the deal expected to be made permanent at the end of the 2023/24 campaign.
He joins Abedi Pele, John Mensah, and Michael Essien as the fourth Ghanaian player to play for Lyon.
The forward, started his career in Ghana with the Right to Dream Academy, before joining the Danish side after impressing in a series of trials.
Nuamah in the 2022/2023 enjoyed an impressive season for Nordsjælland, making 30 appearances and scoring 12 goals with 4 assists.
