The Member of Parliament for Okaikoi Central, Patrick Yaw Boamah, in collaboration with the Ghana Enterprise Agency and the Mastercard Foundation, has provided support to over 232 apprentices in the Okaikoi Central Constituency through the Bizbox project.

The beneficiaries underwent training in various vocational skills, including cosmetology, hairdressing, makeup, welding, dressmaking, bakery, electrical work, auto mechanics, and upholstery, among others.

As part of the support, they received essential equipment such as sewing machines, hair dryers, ovens, gas cylinders, and welding tools to help them start their own businesses.

The initiative aims to address unemployment challenges in the constituency by equipping the youth with skills and tools for self-employment.

Present at the event were the CEO of the Ghana Enterprise Agency, Mrs. Kosi Yankey-Ayeh, Chief Alhaji Sule, Moshie Chief of Abeka, Rev. Philip Nii Annan Esq., Resident Pastor of Apenkwa Presbyterian Church, as well as constituency executives and staff from the Ghana Enterprise Agency.
