The Deputy Clerk to Parliament, Dr. Mrs. Gloria Kumawu Sarku, has officially launched the 2025 Graduate Entry Training Programme at the Parliamentary Training Institute (PTI), on behalf of the Clerk to Parliament, Mr. Ebenezer Ahumah Djietror.
She urged staff to take full advantage of the training, strive for excellence, and remain committed to the values of the Parliamentary Service. She assured participants of management’s continuous support to enhance their professional growth.
Director of PTI, Dr. Ernest Darfour, described the programme as a renewed effort to build the capacity of staff through a structured and comprehensive approach. He noted that the initiative is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and competencies required to meet statutory responsibilities and effectively contribute to parliamentary work.
The programme is being implemented in collaboration with the University of Ghana Business School and the Government Secretariat.
Also addressing participants, Prof. Justice Bawole, immediate past Dean of UGBS, advised staff to conduct themselves with integrity and professionalism.
He emphasized the importance of applying the knowledge gained to improve productivity and support evidence-based policymaking within the Parliamentary Service.
