The Appointment Committee of Parliament will begin vetting of newly nominated Ministers of State today Tuesday, March 5, 2024.
On Wednesday February 14, President Akufo-Addo submitted the list of nominated ministers to Parliament for consideration and approval.
Parliament upon receiving the list formed an appointment committee to vet the ministers of state.
Per the schedule, the committee will sit from 9am to 2pm on selected days from Tuesday March 5 to Tuesday March 12, 2024.

9 am: Andrew Egyapa Mercer, Minister-designate for the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture
10 am: Lydia Seyram Alhassan, Minister-designate for the Ministry of Sanitation and Water Resources
11 am: Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah, Minister-designate for the Ministry of Local Government, Decentralisation and Rural Development
12 pm: Ophelia Mensah Hayford, Minister-designate for the Ministry of Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation
